Our Mission
Growing Tree Learning Center is a bilingual English-Chinese school established in 2004. We follow the principle of “growing in love and learning with fun,” and continually strive for high standards in the quality of our curriculums, facilities and staff.
Our afterschool program is open for children from TK to 5th grade, with a curriculum that incorporates the language learning system “Meizhou Chinese” that helps children learn to speak and listen to Mandarin and read and type in Chinese through interactive computers. By utilizing interactive multimedia programs, we are able to provide a lively learning environment for students to learn Chinese.
We also focus on English and a mix of both Singapore Math (Primary Math) and California Common Core Math that is appropriate for each student’s grade level.

Transportation
- An outside coordinator is in charge of transportation. The fees depend on the mileage and the number of students taking the ride.

Reminders
Tuition: Parents and guardians are still required to submit tuition for holidays. See the Little Tree Holiday Schedule for dates.
Absences: Parents are expected to call the Center if a child is unable to attend class. There are no refunds for those missed days and no make-up classes.
Illnesses: If your child becomes sick at the Center, parents will be notified immediately and are expected to pick-up their child. If the Center is unable to contact the parent(s), the Center will contact the designated caretaker.
Withdraw: A written notice is required 30 days prior to the withdraw date. If a proper withdraw notice is not given to the school, the deposit will be forfeited.
Late Pick Up: A late fee charge of $10 will be assessed for every ten minutes interval or portion thereof. (cash only)
Referrals: If you refer a child to enroll our Afterschool Program, we will give you a $50 gift card!
